CSCS TX ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and interoffice correspondence on a daily basis
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, including labeling, postage, and coordination with shipping vendors (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS)
- Maintain accurate logs and tracking for all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials
- Manage mailroom supplies and maintain inventory (envelopes, labels, postage, etc.)
- Handle certified, registered, and confidential mail in accordance with company policies
- Assist with bulk mailings, company communications, and special distribution projects
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies with carriers
- Maintain an organized, clean, and secure mailroom environment
- Maintain an organized, clean, and stocked office stations
- Support administrative or facilities-related tasks as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in mailroom, administrative support, or logistics preferred
- Basic knowledge of shipping systems and carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, or similar systems)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 20–30 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day
