- Leading and developing your team by setting priorities, coaching performance, and building technical skills
- Owning service and make-ready performance , ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on time
- Planning ahead for preventive maintenance, upcoming turns, projects, staffing needs, and property priorities
- Managing maintenance expenses and making smart repair-vs.-replace decisions that protect the property's budget
- Managing vendors and contractors while balancing quality, cost, and urgency
- Using maintenance systems and data to track work orders, turns, costs, and results
- Maintaining property standards through regular inspections and proactive identification of maintenance needs
- Partnering with Property Management to solve problems, improve operations, and deliver a positive resident experience
- Responding to emergency maintenance needs and participating in the property's on-call rotation

- 401(k) with 3% company match
- Company-paid life insurance
- Paid vacation and holidays
- Paid certifications and professional development
- Tool purchase program
- Rent discount potential
- Performance-based bonus opportunities
- A real career path in Maintenance — with opportunities to continue growing into senior and regional leadership roles

- Comfortable using technology and maintenance/work-order systems to manage and track work
- Experience managing maintenance expenses, vendors, and/or budgets
