Maintenance Planner

• 📍 Location: Mississauga, ON
• 💲 Pay: $36.00 - $43.00 per hour
• 🕒 Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

What You'll Do:

As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Maintenance Department through effective planning, scheduling, inventory control, and maintenance coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Plan and coordinate maintenance work assignments in collaboration with the maintenance leadership team.
• •Assist in the development and management of preventative maintenance schedules.
• •Manage inventory levels and coordinate the procurement of spare and replacement parts.
• •Create, update, and maintain work orders within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and CMMS platforms.
• •Optimize preventative maintenance programs through detailed analysis and scheduling improvements.
• •Review preventative and predictive maintenance findings and develop corrective action work orders.
• •Identify and document safety requirements, permits, and special procedures for maintenance activities.
• •Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as required.
• •Support Health & Safety, Environmental Management Systems, 5S initiatives, and energy conservation programs.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

• •Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• •Strong understanding of industrial maintenance operations and equipment.
• •Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software.
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• •Knowledge of inventory management and spare parts control.
• •Experience with 5S methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• •Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• •Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• •Working knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

Preferred:

Experience within the plastics manufacturing industry.

Working Environment:

This position is based primarily within a manufacturing facility and requires:

• •Frequent walking and standing.
• •Lifting, pushing, and pulling materials up to 50 lbs.
• •Exposure to heat, dust, noise, and industrial equipment.
• •Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities.
