POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Industrial Machine Shop Maintenance role is to support the day-to-day activities associated with all aspects of manufacturing operations, including but not limited to installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment throughout the facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment as needed
- To maintain and improve the safe working environment on the shop floor and its surrounding areas.
- To establish a proactive and reactive maintenance program.
- To actively participate in our safety program
- Fill machine oils, Empty chip hoppers, Sweep/run floor scrubber
- Clean coolant tanks, burr benches
- Troubleshoot/repair machines
- Building maintenance, Lighting, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting
- Maintain outside, parking lot, and dock area
Requirements
ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
To conform to U.S. export control regulations, the applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.
- Proficient in problem analysis, problem-solving, and successful resolution.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and group communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance / technical role is preferred
- Experience with equipment installs and modifications in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with CNC machines is preferred
- Preferred experience working in CAD
- Preferred additive OEM and FSE experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas, where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, and other mandatory safety equipment.
- For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sit or stand as needed.
- Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
- Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
- Proper lifting techniques required.
- Ability and comfort level to work in small confined spaces while following proper safety protocol.
- Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
