MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - WEEKENDS (FRI, SAT & SUN PAID FOR 40 HRS) 2ND SHIFT

Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• •12 hour shifts.
• •Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of department.
• •Ensures that all direct reports follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety practices.
• •Train and supervises Team Members on correct procedures to be used when making maintenance repairs.
• •Monitor all production and plant utilities’ equipment efficiencies.
• •Supervise, develop and train Team Members on best maintenance practices.
• •Ensure daily preventative maintenance routing sheets are completed.
• •And, any additional duties that may be assigned by Management.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• •Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• •Working knowledge of OSHA regulations as it pertains to plant operation and maintenance.
• •Ability to understand and operate the systems and equipment used at the facility; and, ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
• •Ability to perform and analyze various system checks.
• •Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them appropriately; and, prepare maintenance schedules.
• •Ability to work on a team and cooperate with others; positive attitude.
• •Ability to work without supervision; self-motivation and self-direction.
• •Ability to pay close attention to details; good analytical problem solving ability.
