The Maintenance Tech Evaluates a variety of functions in the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the physical plant, grounds, and equipment. Supports, facilitates, and participates in the elder-focused social model of care.

Schedule:

• •Full time 1.0 (40 hours per week)
• •Evening Shift

General Requirements:

• •Must have valid Driver's License.
• •Must be able to maintain, repair and replace existing utility systems and write up material specifications for projects.
• •Mechanical aptitude and proven ability to use hand and power tools, to work on ladders at various heights, and demonstrate a safety-conscious attitude.
• •Ability to operate large vehicles, tractors, plows, and various lawn equipment.
• •Must be able to work with limited supervision to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner and have the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
• •Ability and willing to work in a variety of environments, including office settings, classrooms, laboratories, mechanical rooms, service tunnels, and outside areas.
• •Must be comfortable operating in a shared leadership environment and collaborative team environment, including mentoring and sharing knowledge with co-workers and contracted services.
• •Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.
• •Comfortable using Microsoft office suite including word, email, mobile communication devices, and various internet applications.
• •Must be able to test and pass safety competencies and uphold safety procedures consistently.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required.
