Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• •Ensures facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.
• •Assembles, repairs, maintains and moves furniture, such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings.
• •Conducts routine visual inspection of HVAC units, replaces filters and identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs to Manager.
• •Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs to Manager.
• •Performs custodial tasks.
• •Cleans oil and water spills around molding machines to keep trip and slip hazards
• •Assists with structural pest control measures.
• •Monitors facility maintenance inventory and supplies.
• •Assists with special events, as needed.
• •Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• •Ability to operate all equipment in the department.
• •Working knowledge of good hygiene and sanitation practices.
• •Good communication skills.
• •Ability to work well with others.

Education and Experience:

• •High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• •One (1) year of relevant work experience preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

• •Exposure to machine noise.
• •Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
• •Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• •Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
• •Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
• •This role may require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
