  • What You’ll Do
  • As a Maintenance Technician / Millwright , you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems throughout the plant. You will play a critical role in supporting production uptime, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process control systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, piping systems, and other production equipment.
  • Perform equipment alignments, belt and chain replacement, bearing replacement, and precision mechanical repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drives, PLC-controlled equipment, instrumentation, sensors, and electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, piping diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Install, modify, and repair electrical circuits, motors, motor controls, and associated equipment in accordance with company standards and applicable codes.
  • Layout, build, and wire small to medium-sized control panels and equipment modifications.
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as required to support operations.
  • Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot instruments, sensors, and controllers.
  • Identify equipment deficiencies and implement corrective actions to improve safety, reliability, and performance.
  • Create, manage, and complete maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently using the CMMS.
  • Assist in equipment installations, commissioning, and plant improvement projects.
  • Specify and coordinate procurement of maintenance materials, replacement parts, and equipment components.
  • Respond to emergency equipment failures and support production operations as needed.
  • Follow Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain safe work practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space requirements, machine guarding, and other applicable safety standards.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • We're seeking a skilled maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, industrial maintenance experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Three (3) years of maintenance, millwright, mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) License.
  • Possess a Journeyman Millwright Card/Certification or demonstrate equivalent industrial millwright experience including installation, alignment, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and process equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, and rotating equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safe maintenance practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and automation systems
  • Experience building and wiring electrical control panels
  • Computer proficiency and experience with maintenance management systems
  • Experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment

Your Work Schedule

This is a full-time, non-exempt position working Monday through Friday . Schedule flexibility may be required to support emergency maintenance activities and production needs, including occasional after-hours response.
