MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary

You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Administration and Resource Management Division of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

• •You will research, gather, and analyze financial, budget, payroll, staffing, and resource data to resolve issues and support management decisions.
• •You will develop analytical reports and recommendations for leadership to support planning, resource allocation, and organizational effectiveness.
• •You will serve as the primary management analyst responsible for the administration, oversight, and management of labor and payroll resources.
• •You will develop, track, reconcile, and analyze labor budgets, payroll expenses, staffing levels, and labor data to ensure funding aligns with organizational needs.
• •You will serve as a primary point of contact for travel-related matters, providing guidance and assistance to travelers.
• •You will support internal reviews, audit readiness, and process improvement efforts by evaluating travel procedures, strengthening internal controls, and improving operational efficiency and financial accountability.

Qualifications

GS-12 - Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing travel services and travel charge card program support; overseeing time and attendance functions; and conducting program analysis and research to evaluate program operations. GS-11 - Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing travel services and travel charge card program support; processing time and attendance; and conducting program analysis and research to support organizational operations. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-12: None GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for grade levels where both education and experience are acceptable. The combined percentages of education and experience must equal 100%.
