Duties

Joining Customs & Border Protection (CBP), Office of Facilities and Asset Management, will allow you to utilize your expertise in supporting the development, implementation, and sustainment of the telematics and bulk fuel programs.This position starts at a salary of $106,437.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $138,370.00 (GS-13, Step 10) GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area. Mobile Assets Program Management Office (MAPMO) provides CBP personnel with motor vehicles and fleet management expertise in lifecycle management, fleet oversight, and advocacy. The program office succeeds through the modernization of Agency fleet management practices ,employment of performance analytics across program areas, implementation of sustainable efficiency strategies,mitigation of associated risks, policy oversight, and regulatory compliance. Typical duties include: Evaluating management effectiveness and efficiency, identifying process improvement opportunities, developing process updates or corrective actions. Evaluating the performance of installed telematics and bulk fuel equipment. Developing recommendations and action plans to improve program performance, such as corrective actions to remedy identified process gaps. Managing projects or tasks related to the telematics and bulk fuel programs, such as projects or tasks designed to improve service delivery; re-engineer processes; identify cost savings; or enhance customerexperience, program operations, outcomes, or compliance. Serving as Contracting Officer's Representative for telematics and bulk fuel support contracts. Qualifications

Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Analyzing telematics, fleet, fuel, or related program data to assess data quality, service delivery, trends, and program performance. Utilizing telematics hardware, software platforms, system capabilities, equipment installation considerations, and data flows to support program implementation, sustainment, and reporting. Developing, monitoring, and evaluating key performance indicators or other performance measures to assess program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities. Supporting acquisition planning or contract administration activities, including serving as or supporting a Contracting Officer's Representative in monitoring contractor performance, reviewing deliverables, or resolving contract-related issues. You must: Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 10/06/2026.
