Salary range (but not limited to):
149,600 - 182,800
Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
Nous cherchons deux directeurs(trices), Actuariat pour se joindre à notre équipe de Données et analyse en indemnisation (CDAT), qui joue un rôle clé dans le soutien de notre rentabilité. La taille et l'envergure de notre équipe vous permettront de travailler sur une bonne diversité de projets. Le premier rôle proposé se situe dans l’équipe Responsabilité civile et Légal . L’équipe est chargée de développer des méthodes d’analyse visant à approfondir la compréhension des facteurs de pression inflationniste dans les protections liées aux dommages corporels, ainsi que de contribuer à plusieurs initiatives opérationnelles destinées à atténuer ces facteurs. L’équipe a également pour mandat d’accélérer l’exploration des cas d’usage de l’IA générative dans les opérations de réclamations.
Le second rôle proposé se situe dans l’équipe Prestations d’accident (Accident Benefits), Pertes majeures et Lignes spécialisées Canada . L’équipe est chargée de développer des méthodes d’analyse visant à approfondir la compréhension des facteurs de pression inflationniste et à assurer le suivi de l’impact des différentes réformes qui toucheront ces lignes d’affaires en Ontario et en Alberta. Elle est également appelée à participer à des projets d’envergure touchant l’ensemble des réclamations et visant l’amélioration de la surperformance opérationnelle
Ce que vous accomplirez chez nous :
- Participer à l'atteinte de nos objectifs en matière d'engagement des employés, de contrôle de l’indemnité et d'amélioration de l'expérience client.
- Formuler des recommandations appropriées après avoir analysé et interprété les rapports produits par les analystes actuariels pour améliorer la performance des opérations de réclamations.
- Gérer l'évaluation, le développement et l’encadrement (coaching) des membres de leur groupe pour atteindre les objectifs stratégiques de l'entreprise.
- Gérer les activités de leur équipe en organisant, planifiant et contrôlant l'utilisation optimale des ressources humaines, financières et matérielles selon les stratégies de l'entreprise et la planification budgétaire.
- Gérer et fournir des conseils techniques aux membres de leur groupe responsables des travaux et études actuariels.
- Représenter le département d'actuariat CDAT lors d'ateliers et de comités et agir comme point de contact auprès des différents intervenants.
- Agir à titre de conseiller afin d'aider les opérations de réclamation à prendre des décisions fondées sur les données sur la façon de garder un meilleur contrôle sur l'indemnisation, de gagner en efficacité dans les opérations et d'améliorer l'expérience client.
Ce que vous mettrez à profit :
- Diplôme universitaire en sciences actuarielles ou en mathématiques, ou toute combinaison de formation et d'expérience équivalente.
- Désignation spécifique à l'emploi : FICA ou FCAS est un atout.
- Minimum 7 ans d'expérience en actuariat, dont 2 ans en gestion ou encadrement (coaching) d’équipe, atout très important.
- Fortes aptitudes et connaissances des techniques actuarielles.
