The Software Engineering Manager II will lead a larger team of software engineers and play a crucial role in managing more complex projects. This role requires a deeper understanding of software architecture, project management, and team leadership, with a focus on driving successful project outcomes and fostering professional growth within the team.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

Manage a team of mid to senior-level software engineers, providing guidance on complex technical challenges.

Lead the planning, development, and delivery of multiple software projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align software development efforts with business objectives .

Drive continuous improvement in software development practices, including code quality, testing, and deployment.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and support team members in their career development.

Assist in strategic planning for the software engineering department, including resource allocation and technology investments.

Mentor and develop engineering talent.

Your Toolbox

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a management or leadership role.

Expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.

Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex software projects.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Technical Stack

  • GoLang for backend services
  • Flutter for frontend development
  • AWS Postgres database
  • MCP built on FastMCP, hosted on AgentCore Runtime

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is a remote opportunity.

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
