Description
The Why Behind Wellvana:
The healthcare system isn’t designed for health. We’re designed to change that. We’re Wellvana, and we help doctors deliver life-changing healthcare.
Through our elevated value-based care programs, we’re revitalizing an antiquated system that’s far too long relied on misaligned incentives that reward quantity of care not the quality of it.
Our enlightened approach—covering everything from care coordination to clinical documentation education to marketing— ties the healthy outcomes of patients directly to shared savings for primary care providers, health systems and payors.
Providers in our curated network keep their independence, reduce their administrative headaches, and spend more time with patients. Patients, in turn, get an elevated experience with coordinated care between appointments that is nothing short of life-changing.
Named 2024 "Best in Business" and 2023 "Best Place to Work" by Nashville Business Journal, we’re one of the fastest-growing healthcare companies in America because what we do works. This is the way medicine is meant to be.
Clarity on the Role:
Under the direction of the Director of Interoperability, the Manager of Interoperability is responsible for managing the activities and individuals associated with interface projects as well as the success of the projects. This role works directly with partners, project administrators, and internal interoperability specialists to manage interface development from the partner’s Electronic Health Records (EHRs) to internal and external data repositories and refineries.
What's Expected:
Lead End-to-End Data Integration Projects
Manage clinical data integration efforts from kickoff to production, collaborating with internal teams, provider partners, and EHR vendors in support of Wellvana service offerings and CMS quality reporting requirements.
Implement Direct-to-Partner Products and Solutions
Lead the technical implementation of direct-to-partner products, ensuring smooth onboarding, data integration, and adoption of solutions that enhance provider engagement and support population health initiatives.
Educate and Support Partner Organizations
Guide provider organizations through technical deliverables required for CMS programs (e.g., MSSP, ACO REACH), interpret EHR system capabilities, and provide clear guidance on interface setup and data submission best practices.
Communicate Across Clinical, Technical, and Business Stakeholders
Effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business users by clearly documenting integration steps, communicating status updates, and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders throughout the integration lifecycle.
Ensure Data Quality and Interface Accuracy
Conduct detailed reviews of incoming data files for structure and content, support partners with QA processes, and troubleshoot interface issues to ensure high data fidelity and support performance-based contracts.
Maintain Project Documentation and Partner Engagement
Track partner interactions via email and calls, maintain up-to-date project documentation, and contribute to business process documentation and lessons learned to inform continuous improvement.
Drive Operational Excellence and Process Improvement
Identify areas for enhancement within integration workflows, recommend refinements to technical and operational standards, and contribute to the evolution of integration best practices in a dynamic VBC environment.
Develop Platform Expertise and Troubleshoot Technical Issues
Become a superuser of the internal platform, leveraging both front-end and back-end tools (e.g., SQL environments) to analyze and resolve complex data and integration issues within defined SLAs.
Drive Technical Initiatives
Collaborate on technical projects to enhance data integration, interoperability, and system functionality, including the deployment of new EHR vendor-specific integration methods and design and implementation of new data specifications.
