[What the role is]

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore’s raison d’etre is to develop the air hub and aviation industry in Singapore, expanding Singapore’s links to the rest of the world. We enable opportunities through aviation, making connections, opening doors and enabling choices in people’s lives.

[What you will be working on]

You will oversee aviation safety of Singapore registered aircraft and air operators, developing policies and implementing safety oversight frameworks that align with both international standards and Singapore's aviation requirements.

Your work involves conducting technical assessments, audits and surveillances to ensure regulatory compliance, investigating technical incidents, and analysing safety occurrences.

You will review aircraft maintenance programmes and collaborate with aviation stakeholders, including local airlines and maintenance organisations, to enhance safety standards.

This role requires strong technical expertise in aircraft systems and a good understanding of Singapore's aviation regulatory framework.

[What we are looking for]

Training in relevant engineering disciplines. Holding a Part 66 Category B1/B2 licence would be an advantage.

At least 5 years of experience in a commercial airline’s quality / technical services / engineering / maintenance control roles, preferably in supervisory or management roles

Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

Note: Your appointment will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
