Donaldson is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support the industrialization, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes for our filtration solutions. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Quality, and suppliers, you will play a key role in bringing new products into production, improving existing processes, and ensuring operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Re-industrialize product modifications and changes for serial production.
- Participate in customer proposal reviews and assess technical solutions and manufacturing feasibility.
- Define and implement industrialization plans for new products, including PFMEA, process development, project costing, and drawing reviews.
- Create and maintain manufacturing and testing work instructions, procedures, and routings.
- Specify, monitor, and support the design of assembly tools and production fixtures.
- Participate in the definition and validation of production testing processes, including test equipment specifications, test protocols, and ATP approval.
- Train and support production teams in the use of manufacturing methods and production tools.
- Maintain routings, bills of materials, and manufacturing resources within the ERP system.
- Support production teams in problem-solving activities using continuous improvement methodologies (QRQC, 5 Why, A3, etc.).
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, quality, ergonomics, and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
- Travel
- Up to 10% travel (if required).
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent higher education qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or industrialization role within the aerospace and/or mechanical industry.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as QRQC, Kaizen, 5S, and DMAIC.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of EN9100 / AS9100 quality standards.
- Experience using Oracle R12 ERP systems.
- Experience in low-volume, high-mix production environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases and VBA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to change and innovation
Ingénieur Méthodes Industrialisation
Donaldson recherche un(e) Ingénieur(e) Méthodes pour contribuer à l’industrialisation, à l’optimisation et à l’amélioration continue de ses procédés de fabrication. En collaboration étroite avec les équipes Engineering, Opérations, Qualité, Commerce et les fournisseurs, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l’introduction de nouveaux produits en production, l’amélioration des processus existants et le soutien à l’excellence opérationnelle.
Missions principales
- Réindustrialiser les évolutions des produits en série.
- Participer aux revues d’offres clients en évaluant les solutions techniques et la faisabilité industrielle.
- Définir et mettre en œuvre l’industrialisation des nouveaux produits (AMDEC produit/process, chiffrage, revues de plans, etc.).
- Rédiger et maintenir les gammes de fabrication, procédures d’assemblage et d’essais ainsi que les instructions de travail.
- Définir, suivre et valider la conception des outils et outillages d’assemblage.
- Participer à la définition et à la validation des processus d’essais en production, incluant les bancs d’essais, protocoles et ATP.
- Former et accompagner les équipes de production dans l’utilisation des méthodes et moyens industriels.
- Gérer les gammes, nomenclatures et ressources dans l’ERP.
- Accompagner les équipes de production dans la résolution de problèmes à l’aide d’outils d’amélioration continue (QRQC, 5 Why, A3, etc.).
- Piloter et contribuer à des projets d’amélioration continue visant la productivité, la qualité, la réduction des coûts, l’ergonomie et la performance opérationnelle, tout en garantissant le respect des exigences Hygiène, Sécurité et Environnement.
- Déplacements
- Déplacements ponctuels pouvant représenter jusqu’à 10 % du temps.
Qualifications minimales
- Diplôme d’Ingénieur ou formation supérieure équivalente en mécanique, procédés industriels, génie industriel ou domaine connexe.
- Minimum 2 ans d’expérience dans une fonction similaire en environnement aéronautique et/ou industrie mécanique.
- Maîtrise de SolidWorks ou d’un logiciel de CAO équivalent.
- Bonne maîtrise des outils informatiques et du Pack Office.
- Anglais professionnel indispensable, à l’écrit comme à l’oral.
- Connaissance des outils et méthodologies d’amélioration continue tels que QRQC, Kaizen, 5S et DMAIC.
- Expérience en environnement industriel de production.
Qualifications souhaitées
- Connaissance de la norme qualité EN9100.
- Maîtrise de l’ERP Oracle R12.
- Expérience dans un environnement de production petites séries / forte diversité produits.
- Connaissance des bases de données Oracle et du VBA.
- Solides capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en collaboration transverse.
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets en parallèle.
- Forte orientation amélioration continue et innovation.
