1. Position Summary

The Marketing and Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality digital content that supports the institution’s branding, marketing, and awareness objectives. The role involves planning, creating, and editing visual materials— including videos, graphics, and photos—used across digital platforms and communication channels. The position ensures that all content aligns with the institution’s brand identity and contributes to enhancing visibility, engagement, and reputation in the education sector.

2. Key Duties and Responsibilities

2.1 Content Development

Develop and produce creative content for digital platforms including promotional videos, social media content, student testimonials, program highlights, and event coverage.

Create compelling storylines that effectively communicate the institution’s mission, values, and educational offerings.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content ideas, coordinate interviews, and plan content production.

2.2 Video Production & Editing

Lead end-to-end video production, including filming, editing, sound mixing, colour correction, and exporting final deliverables.

Produce videos optimized for various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and institutional websites.

Incorporate motion graphics, subtitles, and visual effects where required.

2.3 Branding & Awareness

Ensure all content adheres to institutional branding guidelines and supports brand consistency.

Contribute to marketing campaigns aimed at increasing institutional visibility, student recruitment, and public awareness.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and content strategies relevant to the education sector.

2.4 Digital & Social Media Support

Develop and adapt content suitable for different social media formats to enhance engagement and outreach.

Collaborate with the Marketing team to support content planning, scheduling, and campaign execution.

Monitor content performance and provide recommendations to improve visibility and audience interaction.

Photography

Capture high-quality photographs of programs, events, campus life, and institutional activities.

Edit, catalogue, and archive photo and video materials for future use.

2.6 Administrative & Coordination Tasks

Coordinate with academic departments, admissions teams, and external partners for content production requirements.

Support marketing events, educational fairs, school visits, and other institutional activities by providing content coverage.

Maintain equipment inventory and ensure proper use and care of all media-related tools and devices.

3. Qualifications and Requirements

3.1 Education

Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Communications, Marketing, Digital Design, or a related field.

Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

3.2 Experience

Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in content creation, videography, or video editing; experience in the education sector is an advantage.

Demonstrated portfolio of past video and content work.

3.3 Technical Skills

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.

Competency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.

Strong understanding of digital media formats, social media trends, and content optimization.

Ability to operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
