Company Overview

We are the better way to work in finance. As private equity’s value creation partner, we sit at the heart of PE—where sponsors and CFOs meet. Through financial consulting rooted in data, technology, and AI, we help clients drive value—supporting the office of the CFO to drive end-to-end value creation.

If you crave challenging work and are looking to grow, come solve complex problems alongside a team of finance and technology professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Backed by leading private equity investors, we are a high-growth, entrepreneurial firm with a global presence. We are looking for people who want to help build something great and make a lasting impact.

Role Overview

The Marketing Coordinator helps turn Accordion's marketing priorities into coordinated campaigns and programs, with a focus on CFO technology alliances, events, digital marketing, and commercial marketing operations. Our audience is CFOs and operating partners at PE-backed companies, and our alliance partners are the technology providers those CFOs rely on. This role sits where the two meet.

The right person is a strong project manager who is technology literate or technology curious and moves comfortably between creative execution and operational rigor, working across marketing platforms, cross-functional teams, and performance reporting.

This is an early-career role, and we hire for it with training in mind. The scope is broad, and no one is expected to arrive with every skill listed here. We expect you to grow into the full role, and we invest heavily in coaching and hands-on training to get you there. Curiosity, a genuine interest in learning, and the organization and attention to detail to produce polished work in a fast-paced professional services environment matter most.

Over your first year, you will build real depth in alliance marketing, digital marketing, and demand gen operations, with the chance to develop expertise in two or more of these areas.

This position must be based in our NYC office and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week. Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:

You will start with a focused set of these responsibilities and take on more as your skills grow.

Support execution of joint marketing plans and partner programs for Accordion alliance partners; maintain project trackers, join regular check-ins, and coordinate across partner and internal teams

Own the alliance marketing calendar, including holds and scheduling across the partner and events calendar, so conflicts surface early

Coordinate swag sourcing, ordering, inventory, and allocation across events and the alliance ecosystem

Support the building of reports on alliance marketing efforts for leadership

Support website maintenance and updates when quick turnaround is required, coordinating with our web developer and designers

Learn about and contribute to ongoing SEO and GEO efforts that improve Accordion.com's visibility in traditional and LLM-powered search

Marketing operations and technology

Learn, understand, and contribute to the current and future state of our marketing commercial technology and operations workstreams, including CRM, email, and reporting workflows

Pull, analyze, and report on campaign and pipeline performance across the marketing technology stack to support reporting and decision-making, using AI tools to streamline analysis

Build and maintain dashboards that give leadership visibility into pipeline and marketing activity
