Mechanical Engineer (Permanent) AH Key Responsibilities:

• •Provide maintenance support, including installation, planned preventive, and reactive maintenance, for site services and equipment.
• •Perform servicing and maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, and mechanical systems, including pump seals, bearings, and alignment.
• •Participate in the on-call rota, nightshift pattern within the Maintenance Team during client occupations.
• •Prioritise work to meet business needs effectively.
• •Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• •Oversee contractors on-site, ensuring tasks are performed to required standards.
• •Provide specialist technical support related to building plant and equipment.
• •Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position.

Knowledge and Skills:

• •Engineering/Technical qualification (Apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 in a relevant discipline such as mechanical/plumbing/HVAC).
• •Experience in building services & mechanical servicing/maintenance, inc. pump seals, bearings, & alignment.
• •Ability to write reports and job sheets either manually or electronically.
• •Competence in other areas of building services (BMS, Electrical).
• •Hold a full clean UK driving license.
