Our Billings, Montana office is currently seeking a Media Content Coordinator .
This is an on-site position in Billings, MT.
- POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Media Content Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that strengthen company brand awareness, support business development and sales efforts, increase audience engagement, and enhance the company’s presence across digital and industry channels.
Reporting directly to the Director of Business Development, this position will manage social media, content development, digital marketing, email campaigns, website content, marketing collateral, and event and conference promotion. The role will work closely with leadership and internal teams to develop compelling content that communicates the company’s value, expertise, culture, client partnerships, and services.
The ideal candidate is a creative and proactive marketer with strong writing and communication skills who can manage multiple projects independently, meet deadlines, maintain brand consistency, and use data and analytics to improve marketing performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Management
- Develop and manage monthly social media content calendars.
- Create, schedule, publish, and manage content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other approved platforms.
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages appropriately.
- Develop strategies to increase audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility.
- Identify opportunities to highlight company culture, client partnerships, and industry expertise.
- Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across all platforms.
Content Creation
- Write, edit, and proofread marketing content, including: social media posts, blog articles, email campaigns, client success stories, case studies, conference announcements, recruiting content, and company updates.
- Collaborate with leadership to create thought leadership content.
- Translate complex industry concepts into engaging and accessible content.
Graphic Design & Marketing Collateral
- Create professional marketing materials using Canva and related tools.
- Design social media graphics, one-page marketing sheets, event collateral, conference signage, presentation graphics, recruiting materials, and internal communication assets.
- Maintain consistency with company branding standards across all marketing materials.
Video Content
- Create and edit short-form videos for social media and marketing campaigns.
- Develop event recap videos, company culture content, and promotional videos.
- Add captions and optimize videos for various social platforms.
- Coordinate with leadership and team members to capture targeted video content at conferences and events.
Event & Conference Marketing
- Support planning, promotion, and execution of industry conferences and company events.
- Develop, support, and monitor marketing campaigns for conferences and events before, during, and after each event to increase awareness and drive customer engagement.
- Coordinate social media coverage and real-time content during events.
- Develop conference-related collateral and follow-up materials.
- Assist with sponsorship and exhibitor marketing activities.
Website & Digital Presence
- Update website content, graphics, and blog posts as needed.
- Ensure website messaging remains current, accurate, professional, and aligned with company goals.
- Assist with landing-page creation and campaign support.
- Monitor website content for accuracy and consistency.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor performance metrics across marketing channels.
- Track engagement, audience growth, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare monthly marketing performance reports.
- Use data-driven insights to improve visibility, engagement, and overall marketing performance.
- Assist in tracking marketing-generated leads and opportunities.

- Demonstrates a passion for storytelling, content creation, relationship-building, and developing meaningful connections with audiences, clients, partners, and internal teams.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree in: Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, public relations, or related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience in managing professional or business social media accounts.
- Experience supporting conferences, trade shows, and industry events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Perform repetitive tasks such as typing and clicking.
- Must be able to lift and move light items up to 20 pounds at times.
- Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and sit.
