Medical Assistant - Full-time Days

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 -

Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm) - Sign on bonus!

Coordinates and provides care for a group of patients spanning all age groups and cultures for a designated time frame using therapeutic means, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members while assuming responsibility and accountability for these patients. Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• •Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
• •Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development
• •Able to assess and interpret data reflective of the client’s status
• •Provides care outlined in standards, policies and procedures
• •Specialized departmental training to provide care to patients within the role
• •Successful completion of SMH orientation
• •Command of verbal and written English
• •Positive interpersonal communication skills
• •Good organizational skills
• •Operation of clinical equipment
• •Demonstration of clinical competence

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

Educational Requirements:

Graduate of a two year accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

License/Certification:

Medical Assistant

Salary Range: $19.85-$30.05 -

Salary Range Details

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
