Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
Florence is buzzing — and our in-hub events are where the energy comes to life. As our Member Programme Intern, you’ll help bring the social heartbeat of our space to life, from intimate gatherings to buzzy programming moments that our community genuinely looks forward to. Some days you’ll be coordinating speakers, instructors and guests and the next chasing RSVPs and setting up a room just right. Other days you’ll be brainstorming new ideas, gathering feedback from the night before or helping to shape what our members experience next. No two shifts look the same — and that’s exactly the point. If you love the buzz of a well-run event and get excited about building the kind of community people actually want to be part of, you’ll feel right at home here.
What You’ll Be Doing
Helping to plan, coordinate, and run in-hub events — from intimate gatherings to bigger programming moments
Liaising with speakers, partners, and members to bring events together
Supporting on logistics: scheduling, app updates, comms, room setup, and on-the-day delivery
Gathering feedback after events and helping the team refine what works
Contributing ideas for new programming that fits our community
What We’re Looking For
Enthusiastic, organised, and comfortable managing moving parts
A creative eye — you care about the details that make an event feel special
Strong communicator who’s confident reaching out to speakers and partners
Genuinely curious about community, culture, and what brings people together
Previous event or volunteering experience is a bonus, but not essential
What You’ll Get
Real end-to-end event experience in a membership setting
The chance to shape programming that our members genuinely love
A fun, fast-moving team where your creativity is encouraged
What You’ll Have
You are currently enrolled at a university within the EU
You are studying Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Sales or a related field
You bring a positive, hands-on attitude and enjoy meeting new people
You are organized and comfortable juggling different tasks throughout the day
You enjoy both teamwork and taking initiative when needed
You are fluent in Italian and English. Extra languages are always a plus
You are available for a full-time internship of 39 hours per week for 6 months

A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuff.
At The Social Hub, we believe pay should be fair and consistent. That's why we carefully determine your starting salary based on the role, your assessed proficiency, and our salary framework. We make our best and fairest offer upfront, so we don't negotiate salaries. Because fairness shouldn’t depend on who negotiates best.
Who you are, is how we want you to be. To us, hybrid hospitality goes across the board, from how we service our guests to how we represent ourselves. Here, everyone belongs, and we welcome people no matter their nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion or culture. Your authenticity keeps our team diverse. Come as you are.
