Description

Hammond Lumber Company, voted 2025's Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a Full-Time Merchandiser for our Mexico, Maine location.

Job Responsibilities

• •Maintains and stocks retail store as assigned
• •Performs inventory cycle counts and maintains adequate inventory levels
• •Provides support for sales force which can include but is not limited to mixing paint, picking stock orders, etc.
• •Dusts shelves and performs basic housekeeping functions such as trash removal, sweeping or vacuuming
• •Places orders with Emery Waterhouse and other vendors as needed
• •Position requires heavy lifting

Requirements

• •Previous experience in customer service preferred
• •Previous inventory control or warehouse experience preferred
• •Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
