Your Impact
As a Merchandising Support Intern at Lowe’s, you’ll work alongside the teams that define our product assortments, pricing strategies, and vendor relationships—directly impacting the customer experience across our 1,700+ stores and online channels. You’ll gain firsthand exposure to the decision-making processes that power our shelves and digital platforms, while contributing to cross-functional projects that drive real business outcomes. Summer Internship Program

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 24th – July 30th, 2027) immerses you in real-world retail operations. You’ll work directly with industry experts across our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities.

What You Will Learn
- How Lowe’s evaluates and supports product assortments to meet customer needs.
- The processes behind pricing strategy, product placement, and supplier engagement.
- How merchandising decisions are translated into operational execution across retail and digital.
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with teams in supply chain, marketing, and store operations.
- How data drives merchandising through sales trends, forecasts, and performance tracking.
- Project ownership: contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance category performance or customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in business, merchandising, marketing, retail management, or related field.
- Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Programs (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Previous internship or relevant campus/leadership experience is a plus.
