Title: Mitigation Technician

Location: Logan, UT

We help homeowners restore their homes - and peace of mind - after unexpected damage. As a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis Restoration, you’ll respond to properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damage. This is an important, entry-level role where you’ll learn valuable skills, support customers during challenging situations, and be part of a team that makes a real difference. We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who take pride in helping others and want to grow with our company.

What does a Mitigation Technician do?

Help customers in your community during times of need

Assist with restoration work after property damage

Take pride in completing work with quality and care

Communicate with empathy and a sense of urgency

Job Responsibilities

Perform restoration and cleanup work (e.g., water mitigation, board-up, mold remediation) under supervision

Provide excellent customer service throughout each project

Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and equipment

Assist with setting up equipment and preparing materials for removal or storage

Clean and maintain tools and equipment used on the job

Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable as needed

Support warehouse and facility tasks when required

Assist with demolition of damaged materials

J ob Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Written and verbal fluency in English

Valid driver's license

Ability to work nights/weekends and overtime, if needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently

Exposure to potentially extreme weather conditions

Standing, lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, for 8-12+ hours per day

8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
