Job Summary

Seeking a Mobile Automation Engineer with strong experience in Android and iOS automation testing using Appium, Java, Selenium, and REST Assured . The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation frameworks, validating Telecom customer journeys, and leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications using Appium.
  • Automate functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Validate Telecom customer journeys including onboarding, authentication, recharge, billing, plan management, and self-service workflows.
  • Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber BDD, and Page Object Model (POM).
  • Create and execute API automation suites using REST Assured.
  • Perform testing across real devices, emulators, simulators, and multiple OS versions.
  • Automate mobile gestures including swipe, scroll, drag-and-drop, pinch, zoom, and long-press actions.
  • Analyze defects, troubleshoot failures, and perform log analysis using Android Logcat and Xcode.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and support Agile delivery teams.
  • Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot for test case generation, script development, code optimization, and validation of AI-generated outputs.

  • Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
