Molding Technician I- 2nd shift

• Reporting to the shift supervisor or Lead Process Technician, the Injection Mold Setter installs mold tools into Injection Molding
• Machines and prepares them to run.
• Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• •Perform job changeover by removing and storing tools and auxiliary equipment to prepare machines for next production
• run.
• •Remove molds from the machine and set the new molds safely using overhead cranes
• •Ensure that the correct mold and materials are being used
• •Make all necessary hydraulic, water and electrical connections
• •Communicate problems, needs and important information to supervisor
• •Fill in for Press Attendant as required
• •Provide and implement ideas to improve the efficiency of the mold setting process and reduce down time
• •Practice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment
• Minimum Requirements
• •High School Diploma or equivalent
• •Ability to read and understand work orders
• •Strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability
• •Ability to easily and comfortably use hand tools
• •Ability to climb up and down ladders frequently
