At Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG), part of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) and Jefferson Health, you can provide community care and impact lives of your patients. We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time board-certified, board-eligible occupational medicine physician with exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills to join our team in Tannersville, PA, located in the scenic, world-renowned, Pocono Mountains.

Practice Overview:

At LVHN, you can choose a career path that fits your interests. As an occupational medicine physician, you’ll be supported by a network of 15 physicians and advanced practice clinicians across our growing regional practices in the division of occupational medicine. In a career as an occupational medicine physician with LVPG, you will:

Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) medical evaluations and Medical Review Officer (MRO) duties

Complete pre-placement/pre-employment physical exams in addition to other specialty medical surveillance exams and fitness-for-duty evaluations

Evaluate, treat and manage occupational injuries, illnesses and exposures

Participate in workplace walkthroughs and ergonomic consultations

Be supported by a team of seasoned advanced practice clinicians (APCs), staff and case managers

No weekends, no call

Qualifications

Board-eligible or board-certified in occupational medicine preferred, but board certification in family medicine, internal medicine or emergency medicine with at least 3 years of occupational medicine experience will be considered

Must possess Commercial Driver Medical Examiner certification

Medical Review Officer certification also required or obtained within the first six months of employment

A valid PA medical license and DEA license is required
