AbilityPath is hiring a Occupational Therapist to join our Team!

The Occupational Therapist provides therapy services to children and their families, with an emphasis on fine and gross motor development, oral motor development, sensory, and feeding.

Compensation: $95k-100k annually

*Sign on Bonus offered!

Schedule: Full time ( 40 hours a week)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Facilitate group and individual developmental sessions

Provide case management

Maintain caseload in compliance with AbilityPath productivity standards

Conduct assessments and write reports

Provide parent education and support

Conduct home based and clinic-based therapy sessions

Participate in provision of each child’s IFSP, IEP, or treatment plan through interagency collaboration

Partners with families for the development and implementation of individual program goals

Oversee children's integration into the community adhering to program objectives while maintaining a safe environment

Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Master’s degree from accredited institution in Occupational Therapy*

Valid License from CA Board of Occupational Therapy*

Minimum one year experience in a pediatric setting

Experience providing tele-therapy

HIRING REQUIREMENTS:

Valid California Driver’s License/ID

Clean Driving Record (if applicable)

Proof of negative TB test results

Verification of occupational physical clearance

Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance

18 years of age or job permit clearance

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:

Employees have the opportunity to share access needs during the interview process, upon hire, and ongoing throughout their employment. Ability to drive personal vehicle to conduct home visits

Ability to physically manage children up to 40 lbs. (carrying, positioning)

Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend frequently

Ability to sit and keyboard as needed
