Essential Duties and Desired Skills/Abilities:

• •We are looking for a self-motivated therapist with an interest in treating a wide variety of patient populations.
• •Therapist will need to have strong diagnostic and manual skills combined with a high level of passion and vision to help grow a new program at this location.
• •Specialty training in orthopedic and/or neurologic populations are preferred.
• •Skilled evaluation and examination of developmental, orthopedic, and neurological diagnoses.
• •Development of a plan of care appropriate for each individual patient including the patient and family.
• •Demonstrate critical thinking and skill in the selection and implementation of appropriate treatment techniques utilizing traditional modalities, manual skills, and available technology.
• •Excellent time management and documentation skills.
• •Team oriented focus with both clinical and support staff.
• •Strong manual and orthopedic skills.
• •Previous experience in outpatient OT preferred.

Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree with 1-3 years of Outpatient Occupational Therapy experience.

Current NYS OT license and registration; CPR certification
