Job Summary

Responsible for managing front desk activities, coordinating patient appointments, and providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • -Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression of the healthcare facility.
  • -Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services, appointment availability, and general office policies.
  • -Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers and staff to optimize appointment availability.
  • -Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate documentation and updating patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • -Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and insurance information as required.
  • -Inventory and supply management.
  • -Other duties as assigned from time to time per business needs of the clinic.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Associate's degree in a health related or management field preferred.

1+ years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting.

Epic experience preferred.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, staff, and visitors.
  • - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • - Proficiency in using computer systems, electronic health records, and scheduling software.
  • - Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and general office procedures in a healthcare setting.
  • - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
