About the opportunity

The role is responsible for managing the Administration Team at Mercy Palliative Care located in Sunshine. Mercy Palliative Care is a community palliative care service located in the western suburbs of Melbourne servicing a large catchment of patients.

The role requires management of administration staff, fleet car management, stock ordering and creation of invoices, coordination of services for the building and providing administrative support to the Director of Nursing/Operations Director at Mercy Palliative Care.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent administrative , organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing demands and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven experience in similar role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy with attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all areas of the organization.
  • Experience in an administration role within health care is preferred.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
