WHAT YOU’LL DO
The primary objective of the Analyst II – Operations Delivery position is to contribute to a team that strives to produce positive customer experiences through their ongoing service and support for a broad range of clients across multiple specialized functional areas. The Analyst will support the team by performing client tasks and auditing responsibilities in the areas of Payroll, Carrier Files, Demographic Files, and audits.
The Analyst II – Operations Delivery role will have accountability for an area within Payroll, Carrier Files, Demographic Files, and audits. The Analyst will be responsible for executing tasks and auditing files to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. In this role, attention to detail and a commitment to precision are essential. The incumbent will work closely with the Senior Operations Associate (SOA) and Operations Manager (OM) to address any discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
This role is remote and can be filled anywhere in the U.S. However, no matter the candidate’s geography, bswift operates with Central time zone expectations for availability and expects the same of all teammates.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (Essential Functions):

Payroll Specific responsibilities include the following:
Conduct thorough audits of payroll files to identify discrepancies and errors.
Verify the accuracy of data related to employee compensation, benefits, and deductions.
Collaborate with the SOA and OM to investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of audit findings and resolutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
Provide support during internal and external audits, including the preparation of documentation and reports.
Stay informed about best practices.
Demographic Specific responsibilities include the following:
Audit inbound demographic files to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Identify discrepancies or anomalies in demographic data and take appropriate corrective actions.
Collaborate with the SOA and OM to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
Review demographic data mappers to ensure that data mappings are logical and generating accurate results.
Develop and implement quality control measures to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Document audit procedures, findings, and resolutions for future reference.
Stay informed about best practices.
Carrier Files (VI) Specific responsibilities include the following:
Audit outbound carrier files (vendor files) to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Identify discrepancies or anomalies in carrier data and take appropriate corrective actions.
Collaborate with the SOA and OM to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
Review carrier data mappers to ensure that data mappings are logical and generating accurate results.
Develop and implement quality control measures to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Document audit procedures, findings, and resolutions for future reference.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to carrier data management.
Audits Specific responsibilities include the following:
Conduct audits of the bswift system to verify accuracy of benefit enrollments, cost/coverage data, and other miscellaneous data elements.
Identify discrepancies or anomalies in bswift data and take appropriate corrective actions.
Collaborate with the SOA and OM to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
Develop and implement quality control measures to improve data accuracy and efficiency within the bswift system.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Document audit procedures, findings, and resolutions for future reference.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to benefits administration systems.
Overall responsibilities include the following:
Manage deliverables independently and contribute to the health of overall book of clients by delivering outstanding service
Identify and offer suggestions to improve operations practices
Build a relationship with internal customers via ongoing governance and personal discussions with full portfolio of clients and peers
Communicate risks and status of deliverables proactively
Back up Analysts II during absences
Execute advanced tasks/audits
Assist Manager to close escalations fully
Participate in implementation projects as needed
Adhere to processes and adapt to new procedures as they evolve
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education and Experience):
1+ years of work experience, which can include summer jobs, internships
Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Ability to assist and equip others to efficiently solve complex problems
Strong customer service orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Adaptability to a rapidly changing priority list
Willingness to overtime on occasion, with prior approval
B.A. or B.S. required, or equivalent relevant work experience
