Outside Service Representative

Description

We are seeking a motivated Outside Service Representative to maintain existing business relationships and develop new relationships to expand our service business. In this position you be representing Freightliner and Western Star.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Regularly call on established accounts to assist with customer relationships and sell Boyer Trucks products and services.
• •Establish and qualify new accounts.
• •Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers.
• •Regularly travel within designated territory.
• •Maintain familiarity with all vendor products.
• •Maintain daily contact with major accounts assigned to you.
• •Complete tasks within the designated budget for travel and entertainment.
• •Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

• •Activities require a full range of motion including handling, lifting, manual dexterity, finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• •Position requires standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
• •Position requires the occasional ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 pounds.
• •Position requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
• •Must be able to regularly get in and out of vehicle's.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• •High school diploma or equivalent.
• •Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
• •Ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days.
• •Ability to work independently and with a group.
• •Ability to travel.
• •Proven ability to develop relationships and close sales.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• •Detail-Oriented
• •Ability to successfully complete a general abilities assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Truck and/or mechanical experience or knowledge is preferred.
