Role Purpose

You will help create and maintain the contract systems that keep LA28's commercial and operational legal work moving as the organization scales toward the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel, Head of Games Revenue Legal and Operational Contracts, you draft and manage contracts, track negotiations, and keep records accurate and accessible. You bring independent judgment and precision to a high-volume contract pipeline, supporting attorneys and business partners across the organization from first draft to signature.

Key Responsibilities

Update and maintain contract forms and prepare initial drafts of contracts for goods, services, and commercial needs.

Run redline comparisons and proofread contracts to ensure accuracy, consistent formatting, and reliable version control.

Track contract negotiation progress and status through the contract management system, keeping records current and audit-ready.

Correspond with internal business partners and external parties to manage timing expectations throughout contract negotiations.

Compose confidential correspondence, memos, contract summaries, reports, and presentations, and assist attorneys with light legal research.

Required Competencies

4+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in a large law firm or corporate in-house legal department.

Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with proven experience preparing legal documents, contracts, presentations, and spreadsheets.

Experience working with contract management systems to track contract negotiation progress, status, and deadlines accurately.

Concise grammatical skills and excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to interact diplomatically with senior stakeholders and external partners.

Detail oriented with exceptional research, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and sound, confidential professional judgment.

Valued Experience

Experience working with contract management systems, highly valued.

Paralegal certification or a completed Bachelor's degree.

Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar contract-tracking tools.

Prior experience in a large law firm or in-house legal department.

Exposure to high-volume commercial and operational contract work.

What We Offer

Career-defining exposure to commercial and operational contracts for a historic Games.

Real ownership of the contract systems that keep legal delivery on track.

A collaborative legal team that values discretion, precision, and shared success.

Room to grow your paralegal craft across a high-volume, high-stakes pipeline.
