The Opportunity:

We have an immediate opening for a regular part-time Accounting Assistant to work in our downtown Tempe , Arizona office. This position is fully onsite and has flexibility to work between 15-20 hours per week within regular business hours, with potential for increased hours in the future.

We are experts in environmental planning, cultural resource management, community planning, and landscape architecture design services. Your Key Responsibilities:

Support the Accounting Team with various tasks and assignments, while also managing some day-to-day office responsibilities.

Assist Accounting Team staff members with creating and maintaining critical information in our project database.

Assisting with accounts payables, receivables, and collections.

Data entry and other assigned administrative tasks as needed.

What You’ll Bring:

High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years of general office or administrative experience and/or pursuing a degree in Accounting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adjust to daily changes in priorities to meet deadlines.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized.

Desire to work in a team environment, while carrying out individual responsibilities with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a planning, design, or environmental consulting environment is desired, but not required.

Experience with Deltek (Vantagepoint) or another accounting software package is highly desired.

What We Offer:

Compensation – This is a part-time position paid on an hourly basis between $20 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and education.

Benefits – Part-time staff members are eligible for paid sick leave, 8 paid holidays, and eligibility for a healthcare program through ACRA (American Cultural Resources Association).
