The department of Sociology is hiring part-time lecturers for courses in Principles of Sociology, Quantitative or Qualitative Research Methods, Sociological Theory, and Upper Division thematic sociology courses.
Other responsibilities include meeting with students one-on-one in office hours, assessing all student work, attending training and faculty development events, and submitting final grades to the Registrar’s office.
- A PhD is preferred, but candidates with a master’s degree will be considered.
- If interested, please submit a cover letter describing your teaching experience and indicating the courses you would be willing and able to teach, a CV, and names of references.
Minimum salary is $2,517 per unit taught.
