Description
Do Meaningful Work. Love Where You Work.
At Carolina Pediatric Therapy , we believe pediatric speech therapy should be more than a series of appointments.
- It should help a child find their voice.
- It should make mealtimes easier.
- It should give a parent confidence.
- It should help a child participate more fully at school.
- It should give a student a way to connect with their friends.
- And it should make communication part of everyday life .
We’re looking for a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Brevard clinic team —a collaborative, energetic group of pediatric clinicians who are passionate about providing exceptional care while building a career that is sustainable and fulfilling.
Why Brevard?
Our Brevard clinic is one of our established pediatric therapy locations, serving children and families throughout Transylvania County and surrounding communities.
Here, you won’t be practicing in isolation.
You’ll work alongside SLPs, OTs, PTs, Psychology, and Behavioral Health clinicians who believe that children are best supported when we work together.
You’ll have your own clinical expertise, interests, and caseload—but you’ll also have a team to brainstorm with, celebrate with, learn from, and lean on.
And when you want to take therapy beyond the clinic, you’ll have opportunities to support children in the places where they live, learn, play, and connect.
Your Clinical Expertise. Their Everyday World.
As a pediatric SLP at Carolina Pediatric Therapy, you may work with children with a wide range of communication needs, including:
- Early language and communication
- Speech sound disorders
- Receptive and expressive language
- Social communication
- AAC
- Feeding and swallowing
- Fluency
- Childhood apraxia of speech
- Neurodevelopmental differences
- And other pediatric communication needs
You’ll have the opportunity to develop individualized, functional goals and provide therapy that is meaningful to each child and family.
Depending on your interests and caseload, therapy may happen in our clinic or in natural environments such as homes, schools, and daycares.
The goal is simple:
Help children use their communication skills in the moments that matter most.
You’ll Be Supported Here.
We want our clinicians to be excellent at what they do—and supported enough to enjoy doing it.
At Carolina Pediatric Therapy, you’ll have access to:
- Clinical collaboration with experienced SLPs
- A supportive Clinic Lead and Clinical Director
- An interdisciplinary team of SLPs, OTs, PTs, Psychology, and Behavioral Health
- Protected planning and collaboration time
- Learning Collaboratives and ongoing professional development
- Clinical resources and peer consultation
- Efficient documentation systems and tools
- Opportunities to develop and grow your clinical interests
- A culture where asking questions, sharing ideas, and seeking feedback are encouraged
You won’t be expected to have every answer.
We want clinicians who are curious, collaborative, and excited to keep learning.
Part-Time With Purpose
We know that great clinicians have lives outside of work.
That’s why this is a part-time, pay-per-visit opportunity designed to provide flexibility while keeping you connected to a strong clinical team.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Create a schedule that works for your life
- Choose your availability
- Build a caseload that fits your goals
- Maintain the flexibility of part-time work
- Stay connected to a collaborative pediatric clinic
- Grow your clinical skills and interests
- Make a meaningful impact without needing to work full-time
Your Time. Your Schedule. Your Impact.
You don’t have to work full-time to make a full-time impact.
Burn Brightly — Not Burn Out.

- A desire to collaborate across disciplines
- A willingness to learn, grow, and receive feedback
- An appreciation for functional, meaningful therapy
- The ability to work independently while staying connected to a team

- Evaluate and treat children with a variety of communication needs
- Develop individualized, functional treatment plans
- Provide engaging, evidence-informed pediatric therapy
- Partner with caregivers and communication partners
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals when appropriate
- Support communication across everyday environments and routines
- Collaborate with other disciplines to provide whole-child care
- Document services efficiently and thoughtfully
- Celebrate progress—both the big milestones and the tiny victories
