• Summary:
• Review and process insurance claims and follow-up on related correspondence. Handle or redirect incoming departmental calls. Interact effectively with co-workers. Other general office duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• •Process paper claims for Commercial Insurance Billing and Queue claims for Electronic Billing
• •Process all patient and insurance correspondence and mail returns
• •Check insurance eligibility and load insurance
• •Answer and resolve or redirector all incoming patient, insurance, and attorney calls

Requirements:

• •High School graduate or equivalent.
• •Ability to type
• •Basic computer skills
• •Excellent customer service skills.
• •A minimum of 6 months pervious hospital or medical office experience

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$17.99 - $22.48

The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
