Welcome to Albany Medical Center, providing excellent care to our community each day. We have an exciting opportunity for health care employees or entry level candidates looking to join our Front Office team as a Patient Service Associate.

An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a full-time position (36 hours/week) structured as three, convenient, 12-hour shifts. This is an onsite position at our Guilderland location, with some reimbursable travel required.

Position Summary:

• •Assist all patients that report to the front desk
• •Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
• •Interact with a diverse patient population
• •Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration
• •Attend appointments, collect copayments, and other necessary information at time of check-in
• •Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members

Qualifications

• •No experience required.
• •Excellent customer service skills preferred
• •Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus!

Salary Range: $19.00/hr - $23.79/hr
