We are Looking for:

We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility.

Responsibilities:

• •Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• •Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information
• •Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service
• •Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in
• •Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date
• •Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation
• •Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
• •Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• •High school diploma or equivalent
• •Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• •Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• •Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• •Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred
