About the job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused People Advisor to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this on-site role, you will provide administrative and operational support across a variety of people-related processes, serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers. You will play an important role in maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring data accuracy, and helping deliver a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee information within HRIS and related systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support new hire onboarding activities, including documentation and system setup.
- Prepare offer letters and communicate onboarding information to candidates.
- Process employee changes, including promotions, pay increases, transfers, and terminations.
- Coordinate background checks and drug screening processes and communicate clearance status to management.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding People-related inquiries.
- Maintain personnel files and ensure proper record retention and document management.
- Compile data and prepare reports from personnel records as needed.
- Support payroll and compliance processes through accurate employee data management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Who We Are Looking For
We encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Spanish bilingual skills is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to two years of Human Resources, People Operations, or related administrative experience.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to quickly learn HRIS and other business systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
- Work Arrangement: Full-Time, On-Site 5 days
- Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
