About the role
Reporting to the People Services Manager, the People Services Coordinator contributes to the continuous improvement in the business performance of People and achievement of the organisation's vision and purpose. This is a max term contract opportunity until September 2027.
In this role you will:
Coordinate end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and contract administration
Prepare and manage HR documentation, employee correspondence, contract variations, and compliance records to ensure accuracy and governance
Serve as the first point of contact for People Services and Workday enquiries, providing responsive support to leaders and employees nationally
Maintain data integrity across HR systems, supporting payroll processes, employee records, compliance checks, and reporting requirements
Contribute to People projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, efficiency, and employee experience
About you
To be successful in this role you have:
Experience in a high-volume administrative, HR coordination, People Services, or shared services environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide professional support across all levels of an organisation
Proficiency using Microsoft Office and HR systems, with experience in Workday or similar HRIS platforms highly regarded
Understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle administration, and compliance requirements, with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
