Are you a passionate Dental Hygienist looking for a practice where you can make a meaningful impact while enjoying an exceptional work-life balance? Periodontal Associates Inc. is seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our specialty periodontal team.
With beautiful offices in Lyndhurst and Mentor, OH, you'll have the opportunity to work in either location based on business needs while helping patients receive world-class periodontal care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include:
As an essential member of our clinical team, you'll help improve patients' oral and overall health by delivering exceptional periodontal care and education.
Perform comprehensive oral and periodontal assessments
Remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments.
Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash.
Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs.
Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation.
Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients' teeth.
Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases.

Qualifications
Newly licensed Dental Hygienist are encouraged to apply .
Active Ohio Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (or eligibility for licensure)
Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization procedures, and infection control protocols
Understanding of OSHA andhealth & safety regulations
Experience with periodontal charting and digital radiography preferred
Strong computer and documentation skills
Excellent communication and people skills
A high school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions:
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to operate standard office equipment
Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
Final compensation will be determined based on your experience and qualifications.

Position Base Pay Range
$38 — $42 USD
