Job Description:

  • Staff pharmacists process/verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager. Education:
  • ▪ Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
  • ▪ Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
  • Experience:
  • ▪ Required: No Prior Experience Required
  • ▪ Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training
  • Skills:
  • ▪ None specified
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • ▪ Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist
  • ▪ Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire
  • ▪ Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
