Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers.
Schedule Needed:
- Monday-Friday: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Or Sunday - Thursday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Essential Job Functions (include the following):
- Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
- Apply labels to medication packaging, scan, package, and assemble medications into appropriate bins accurately and in a timely manner.
- Alert the pharmacist on duty of any medication that is not scanning properly.
- Operate medication packaging equipment as required. Experience with Dosis or Parata is a plus but not required.
- Participate in training and development activities to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas, including the operation of packaging equipment.
- Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate medication supplies are available to complete orders.
- Assist in maintaining inventory at appropriate levels, including removing expired or unused medications, marking used bottles, organizing inventory, and assisting with physical inventory as needed.
- Consistently meet the pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels while maintaining strong attention to detail and a steady work pace.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and other functional areas to keep workflow moving smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, return medications to appropriate locations, and replenish necessary supplies.
- Perform duties in a fast-paced, labor-intensive overnight environment , with the majority of work involving medication packaging and potentially extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
- Maintain a current Pharmacy Technician license as required for the position.
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
- Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed.
Education and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)
Skills and Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience)
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies
- Work Environment:
