Physician Opportunity – Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care - Joplin, Missouri

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in Joplin, Missouri area.

What We’re Looking For

• •Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
• •Active state medical license
• •2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
• •Experience treating patients across all age groups
• •Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays
• •Strong communication and listening skills
• •Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers

Your Role

As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you’ll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including:

• •Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
• •Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
• •Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
• •Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
• •Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care
• •Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
• •Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
