POLICY AND STRATEGY PROGRAM ANALYST

Summary

Duties

• •You will advise the W76/Mk4, W88/Mk5, W93/Mk7, and SLCM-N programs on relevant nuclear strategy and policy guidance.
• •You will convey relevant programmatic and technical aspects of Navy nuclear programs to the Reentry Systems Branch Strategy and Policy Section Head that may have impacts on nuclear enterprise decisions.
• •You will support the Reentry Systems Branch Strategy and Policy Section Head at higher echelon Navy and DoD activities or in negotiations with other activities.
• •You will support the Reentry Systems Branch Strategy and Policy Section Head in communications planning, preparing briefing material and congressional testimony, assisting in formulation of relevant nuclear enterprise policy.
• •You will conduct stakeholder engagement, and influencing decision makers in support of Navy/Strategic Systems Programs organizational aims as it pertains to reentry systems and the nuclear enterprise

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing formulation of relevant nuclear enterprise policy, conducting stakeholder engagement, and influencing decision makers in support of Navy/Strategic Systems Programs organizational aims as it pertains to reentry systems and the nuclear enterprise Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: OPM Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
