Our challenge

We are looking for a Power Platform & Copilot Studio Developer to build low-code applications, automate business processes, and develop AI-powered copilots using Microsoft technologies.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $110k - $115k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
  • Create automated workflows to improve business efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Build conversational AI copilots and virtual assistants using Copilot Studio.
  • Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, and external APIs.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support Power Platform applications and automations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform development, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
  • Strong expertise in building automated workflows, approvals, and business process automations using Power Automate.
  • Hands-on experience developing conversational AI solutions, virtual assistants, and custom copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, data modeling, security roles, and data integration.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and external REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security, licensing, and best practices.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable and user-friendly solutions.
  • Experience troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting production Power Platform applications and workflows.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), solution deployment, and environment management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, connectors, and integration technologies is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200).
  • Experience with AI Builder, Generative AI, Copilot for Microsoft 365, and advanced Power Platform capabilities.
  • Exposure to Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and enterprise integration solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
