Department Overview

  • Pricing Analyst will be part of the Pre-Sales Team with the purpose to provide excellent pricing and bid support on opportunities. This position will be part of the International Sales Operations team, working in a multi-cultural environment and supporting sales teams.
  • Opportunity to learn many aspects of the bid process and bid strategy including project cost analysis and knowledge in competitive pricing.

Job Description

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

Review Price Exception for channel sales and QTAT for direct deals ensuring complete and reasonable costing and margin analysis,

Support the sales team with all B&Q activities as required

Coordination of all approvals, reviews and tracking of discounts requested,

Price exception reporting and discount analysis,

Collect and analyze business intelligence data relevant for the bids,

Provide timely response, optimizing project cost, protecting margin and supporting bid pricing strategy which maximizes the chance to win the deal,

Serve as the primary escalation point for the sales team to troubleshoot and resolve CPQ related quoting issues

Deliver training on the CPQ tool and quotation process

Collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders to test new features or system enhancements

Maintain wins & losses database,

Interface with cross functional departments (Sales, Systems Engineering, Project management, Procurement, Product Group, Finance, legal, etc)

Basic Requirements

Specific Knowledge/Skills Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of working experience (experience in telecommunications industry would be an asset),

Experience in project cost analysis and knowledge in competitive pricing would be an asset,

Able to work independently with good analytical and judgement skills,

Team player with strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure,

Attention to detail,

Fluent in English and Spanish,

Good Excel knowledge,

Required to work mixed shift
