Job Description:
Why This Role Matters
Help us build the future of AI-driven operations. Our team designs, delivers, and supports mission-critical private cloud and engineered systems solutions that power some of the world's most demanding enterprise environments. In this role, you will help transform support from a reactive function into a proactive, AI-enabled engineering capability by improving reliability, building resilient integrations, automating operational work, and preventing issues before they impact customers.
What You'll Do
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex production issues across applications, APIs, cloud services, integrations, data pipelines, and factory systems.
- Perform root-cause analysis and drive permanent fixes that improve reliability at scale.
- Design, build, and support integrations between factory environments, cloud platforms, internal systems, and third-party applications.
- Develop automation that reduces manual effort across onboarding, diagnostics, deployments, monitoring, and support.
- Leverage AI and LLM technologies to improve troubleshooting, incident response, knowledge management, and operational efficiency.
- Partner across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Product, and Customer Success to solve high-impact business problems.
What Success Looks Like
- Become a trusted escalation point for our most challenging technical issues.
- Improve the reliability and scalability of our factory-to-cloud ecosystem.
- Reduce recurring incidents through automation and root-cause elimination.
- Build AI-powered capabilities that improve engineering and support productivity.
- Help create a more proactive, intelligent, and highly automated operating model.
What You Bring
Required
10+ years in software engineering, sustaining engineering, integration engineering, SRE, production engineering, or a related role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and production environments.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Java, or similar technologies.
- Experience with databases, monitoring, logging, networking, and automation.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Manufacturing, factory, IoT, edge, or operational technology experience.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with MQTT, OPC UA, SCADA, MES, PLCs, or similar technologies.
- Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with AI, LLMs, agents, RAG, vector databases, or AI-powered engineering tools.
The Ideal Candidate
You're a builder, problem solver, and relentless optimizer. You naturally look for patterns, automate repetitive work, and challenge inefficient processes. You see AI not as a buzzword, but as a powerful tool for creating smarter systems, faster decisions, and better outcomes.
If you're excited about helping build the next generation of AI-driven operations supporting mission-critical private cloud and engineered systems, we'd love to hear from you.
